DOUGIE

Here is Dougie. Dougie is a chi/min pin mix and is about two years old. He absolutely loves children and other dogs. Dougie takes a while to warm up to adults, especially men. He can be a little nippy with new adult people, but he's good once he knows you are safe. He absolutely adores children.

We need the perfect home for him, which would be a mom or two moms with kids as Dougie does get along well with other dogs and would love to be in a home with kids. He also loves water.

Overall he is a great little dog once he gets to know you. However, he needs a home where he can be understood and have a lot of patience. Dougie is just trying to find his new family, a new person. He has been with us a couple of years now after he was left with us while his family was in a rough position and could no longer care for him. We have held on to him for around 2+ plus years, hoping his family would take him back, but unfortunately, they have not been able to take him back. They have now cut off all contact with us, so now Dougie is available for adoption and waiting for his new family.
